The IntelliBase is a compact grid mounting concept, easy to transport and an all steel assembly, hot dip galvanized to SABS ISO 1461 standards. The units bolt together and are therefore easily installed to form a foundation for each tower leg. It is a concrete-less foundation that can be used in relatively low soil bearing pressure conditions, which makes it particularly suitable to semi dessert/dessert terrain. No concrete, tools, cranes, water or machinery are required.

Cost saving
IntelliBase compares well with the standard foundation of concrete and reinforcing steel in soil bearing pressure conditions of 150 KPA upwards. This makes it extremely economical as conditions where it would typically be used would require much larger volumes of concrete and reinforcing steel. Under these low, soil bearing pressure conditions, it is also substantially quicker to install than a conventional base, allowing earlier switch on and saving costs.
